Quran has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not collect, store or share any information about you. This page explains the one thing the app does use the network for.

Your reading position, the ayat you mark, your settings, and the translations, word meanings and recitations you download. All of it stays in the app's own storage on your device. None of it is sent anywhere, and there is no sync service.
The app connects to the Quran Foundation's content service (api.quran.com) and its audio host (quranicaudio.com) only to download what you choose: a translation, the word-by-word meanings, a recitation's timing data, or a recitation for offline listening. The request carries only the identity of the item requested (for example, translation 19 or surah 67 for a reciter). It carries nothing about you or your device beyond what any internet request carries, and the app sends no identifiers of its own.
Because the Quran Foundation's terms allow their content to be kept on a device for up to seven days, the app refreshes each downloaded file within that week, over Wi-Fi for the large ones. The refresh uses the same requests as the original download. If you would rather the app never use the network, do not download translations, word meanings or recitations; the mushaf itself needs none of them.
Those services have their own privacy policies for the requests they receive.
None. The app contains no analytics, no crash-reporting service, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. There is no account to create. Apple's App Store privacy label for the app is "Data Not Collected".
Recitation keeps playing when the screen locks and can be controlled from the lock screen and Control Centre. The title shown there (surah and ayah) is rendered by iOS on your device.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children. It is rated 4+ on the App Store.
This support site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. The only preference it keeps is your light/dark choice, in your browser.
