Privacy · Tiny Critic for iOS

Your diary never leaves your phone.

Tiny Critic keeps your baby's food diary on your device. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. We operate no servers and receive no personal data from the app.

  • Everything you enter is stored on your phone. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
  • No account, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising, no tracking identifiers.
  • Photos are copied into the app's own storage; the camera and add-only Photos access are requested only when you use those features.
  • Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see payment details.

What the app stores, and where

The critic's name, birthday, and optional photo; the foods, ratings, reactions, notes, dates, and photos you log; the review text the app writes; and your settings. All of it lives in the app's private storage on your device. Tiny Critic does not provide app cloud sync. Your device's own backup settings (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) may include the app's data, under your control.

Photos and camera

Choosing a photo uses Apple's system photo picker, which shows the app only the photo you pick and needs no library permission. The camera is requested only when you tap Take photo. Save to Photos asks for add-only access the first time; the app can add the card you chose to save and cannot read your library.

Sharing and export

Review cards, the board keepsake, the monthly recap, and diary exports leave your phone only when you choose a destination in Apple's share sheet. Cards show the critic's name by default; you can turn that off in Settings. A diary export is a .zip containing the profile, foods, reviews, and photo files. Importing reads only a file you pick in the system file picker.

Purchases

Tiny Critic Unlimited and the optional tips are processed by Apple through the App Store. The app receives a verified purchase record from StoreKit and nothing else. The count of free reviews used is stored on your device only.

Network

The app makes no network requests of its own. The only connections are Apple's, for App Store purchases and restores.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete all data removes every critic, review, custom food, and photo from the app, after a two-step confirmation. Removing a single critic removes only that critic's reviews and photos. Deleting the app removes its storage. Deletion cannot recall copies you already shared, exported, or saved to Photos.

Children

Tiny Critic is made for parents and caregivers, not for children, and is not listed in the Kids category. It collects no information from anyone.

Not medical advice

Tiny Critic is a memory keeper, not medical advice. Allergen-group labels and records show what you logged and when; they are not guidance. Talk to your pediatrician about when and how to introduce foods and allergens.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes how it handles data, this page and the app's Settings screen will say so before the change takes effect.
